WTB 61 4x4 parts
Guys I am looking for a few 4x4 parts. I bought a truck that had been lifted and the guy threw away all of the original parts to put it back stock.
I need the 4 front U-bolts and the 4 rear U-bolts. I need a steering box, the bracket that is riveted to the frame that holds the steering box and the rod that runs from the pittman arm to the steering arm on the drivers side of the axle. Finally, I need the 4x4 shifter for a 4 speed trans. Last edited by 75gmc454; 11-15-2010 at 11:32 PM. |

Re: 61 4x4 parts
I might still have a steering box and mount. I'll check tomorrow and let you know.

Re: 61 4x4 parts
Thanks, that sounds great. I have been looking at your power steering adapter plates, but I don't know if the larger p/s gearbox will clear the front spring on the 4x4. -Clint.

Re: 61 4x4 parts
I got busy today and forgot to look......wrote myself a note. Sorry about that.
I've sold a few of my power steering box adapters to guys that have mounted them to '65-'68 4x4's. I haven't heard of any front spring clearance issues.

Re: 61 4x4 parts
There is no big hurry. I really want the truck original, but I will get one of your adapter plates if I need to.
