Sububan Tailgate.

What year or option is it that the suburbans have the tailgate on the back instead of the barn door setup?

how hard is it to conver the back to the tailgate version?

Funny, I was wanting to convert my burb to barn doors.

Not sure on the years they offered the tailgate, but I've seen them on a wide variety of year models.

As for converting them, IIRC they had provisions in the body for both up to somewhere like '79 or '80, from then on they only the backing plates in for the specific option they had. Mine being an '85, I'm stuck with the tailgate.
