Jimmy Band
I got a Jimmy bang and would like to install in on the tail gate of my truck. How are you guys doing this? ( i know i have to relocate my handle and that's fine i'm just not sure how ppl have been mounting them

I am pretty sure that they take a trucks backing plate out of a truck band, and replace the backing plate with the one on the blazer/jimmy band. Trevor

A tailgate band is made from 2 pieces. The outside brushed aluminum piece that you see, and behind it, is a back plate on the backside attached to the outer piece. A truck tailgate band, has a different backing plate behind the band to recess into the indentation on the tailgate which differs from the shape of a blazer/jimmy tailgate. Thus you need the backing plate out of the truck band to use a blazer band on your truck.
