Question Wiper motor screws?

While I was installing the wiper motor today, one of the screws got away from me and left for parts unknown. I have loosened the heater and moved it, and fished everywhere with a magnet but no screw! Where can I get a replacement? It is a special screw. Anyone have any? Help!

Best wishes,

Les

Re: Wiper motor screws?

Parts board is your best bet. Always someone parting out a truck.

Re: Wiper motor screws?

If you have a pic of the screw I am sure I have it. I have all the hardware
from the dash and firewall, but not labeled. Cascadeheavychevy.

Re: Wiper motor screws?

Why not just take another bolt/screw out and take it to your local hardware store or other type of business and match it? Seems like that would save you the time and money from not having one bolt/screw shipped to you.

Good luck!

Re: Wiper motor screws?

They are special screws, Keith. 5/16 or 1/4 head that tapers on the back side with a tapered star washer for grounding. About 1 1/2 long. I think I may have found some on an old Pontiac that are the same.
