Soft top mounting questions
Ok so I am planning on buying a new soft top later this winter. I am going to be shooting some als liner in the tub this thanksgiving weekend and am going to go up and over the bedrails of the blazer. It has the captured nuts in it for the singlewall top and was wondering if I would be screwing myself down the road if I weld the holes closed and bedline over the top of them.
Does the new soft top use any of these holes or do you have to drill your own?

Re: Soft top mounting questions
My soft top uses the same mounting points as the hard top (STC Fastrack). The old Kayline I had on my 69 did the same.

Re: Soft top mounting questions
I am going to be installing a new soft topper. Does anyone know if they use all the captured nuts or just some of them? If it is just some of them can you let me know which ones?
I would really like to clean the top of the bedrail up.

Re: Soft top mounting questions
My best top mounting hardware is drilled for both and uses either the single wall holes with the captured nuts or the double wall holes using bolts and nuts..
