New Quad Gauges
-
I put a GPS speedometer from this company in my '67 and I'm happy with it. (in tach hole) I just got an e-Mail from them about a new quad gauge they have out. Looks like it comes with the senders and wiring needed and it's on sale. I'm posting this for info only. http://www.speedhut.com/gauge_produc..._type-Quad.htm LockDoc

Mine is on the dash, you can just see the corner of it where the steering wheel and windshield rubber meet on the right side... The cable is pretty small so I enlarged the drain hole on the left corner of the dash a little and ran it through there. LockDoc

Re: New Quad Gauges
Pretty clever. I didn't realize they were out. I calibrated my Classic Instrument speedo using a Magellen GPS, and wondered then why a speedometer hadn't come out yet. (Maybe I need to get out more!
![]() How close are the two of them? I'm sure this sounds sorta numb, but does the Sat. speedo slow down when you're going up or down a steep hill? It would seem, relatively speaking, the Sat unit wouldn't measure as much speed because it wouldn't sense the vertical aspect of the travel. Good looking installation!
