Re: Buildin my 88 Crew Cab long bed AKA STRETCH!
Nice Score Willie!!
first of all, I hope these doors have the wiring plugs intact? also there should be some large grommets on the front door wiring. All you need is the power harness from a 'burb or crew cab. It will include the power lock relay which mounts under the steering column. there are only 3 wires to hook up under your dash. Switched 12V, all time hot 12V, and a ground. There should be places on your fuse block to plug the hot wires into and the ground hooks to the ground buss to the left of the instrument cluster. If you look closely on your trucks A and B-pillar you will see small indentions for where you need to drill holes for the wiring to pass through (you will also find the same indentions on the inside of the kick panel kinda high almost behind the dash, you will need to drill holes the proper size for the grommets to fit in. the rear will have access holes already). It is pretty simple, you will need some hole saws and I used self drilling screws to attach the accordion boots to the cab. Be sure to drill the pass-through holes with the doors off, makes it much easier. fell free to ask if you have any specific questions or if I didn't make it clear
