What is the best way to seal up the drip edge on these things? I was thinking of welding the seams up then using putty. Anyone outhere have a good solution to sealing them up?

Seam sealer, like the factory did. You'll be good for the next 40 years.

Any auto parts store that sells paint and supplies will carry it. I get mine at either Napa or Carquest. It comes in a tube that will fit a caulking gun. Just make sure the old sealer is removed and the metal clean.

Got er cleaned out the other day. That stuff is a pain in the butt. I had a little surface rust under it. That's why I was thinking of welding. Also to make sure no water seeps in.
