Re: opinions needed
how about "SIX DOG SPEED SHOP" over a big old bone? Maybe a lab shadow?
Six dogs a 66... makes sense to me

Re: opinions needed
Let me get this straight. You have labs and want a bulldog logo?

Re: opinions needed
My thoughts exactly. How about a play on retrievers?
Retreiver Racing and Speed, Retreiver Restorations, etc. And, I prefer the looks of the head of a retriever (mastiff type head) over a bulldog any day of the week, twice on Sundays. Maybe I'm a little biased... My current crew: ...my Yellow Lab, Henry, is 115 pounds in this photo, and my two Great Pyrenees are about 125 pounds.

Re: opinions needed
I thoght the same thing, your Labs might not be too happy with a bull dog logo Thats why I thought of a shadow of a lab

Re: opinions needed
for an old speed shop /dog logo (and since you're not tied to labs for the logo), it's hard to beat an old wrinkly bloodhound....
I really like the shop truck look - but I especially like the ones that look like they might have been used back in the day - and most of those were very simple logos (i have a particular liking for old gas station/service station logos - especially sunoco and sinclair) but that's just me. One trend I haven't seen much of is for a shop truck to have more than just door art - when in reality, the old shop trucks back then tended to have phone numbers and dealership names on the bed, etc etc (see attached pic). I think that makes them much more authentic. Your logo with the bulldog looks like some really talented artwork. But my vote would be simpler and understated (only offer since you asked for opinions!) But either way - it's gonna look cool and I can't wait to see the finished product!!!! When you gonna do it? |

Re: opinions needed
I think that photo of your crew in the bed is your logo! I'd buy whatever you're selling.

Re: opinions needed
The only problem with real photos is that the lettering looks a little funny over the picture. At least that's my opinion. Shop/door logos should be cartoonish or simple design, I think. I could be wrong though.

Re: opinions needed
Yeah your probaly right I got time to think about it. I do think that I need to make it rustic looking, and faded. But keep the ideas coming
