Matching Tilt Column Knobs - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have these knobs in first photo on my dash. Where can I find matching knobs for my tilt turn signal, gear select, tilt and E- flasher? Also the 2nd. photo is a spare part, what was it for? Dash is just a mock up, not installed yet. Anyone fit a chrome filler behind the knob to finish off the ugly area where the nut goes to secure to the dash?

I think that filler you're looking for was normally covered by the original knob. I've never seen those style of knobs before, pretty nice looking. If worse come to worse, take one to a machine shop and see if they can make you some.

The nut you are referring to in pic one, is suppossed to be behind the chrome spin on bezel. The nut is to secure the switch to the dash and the shaft of the switch sticks out and has threads for the chrome bezel to thread onto.

I installed some knobs on the longhorn that look something like this. I painted the center of the chrome panel retainer with semi-gloss black paint.

Ok, thanks, checked out my dash that's still in the truck, yep that's how it is. I'll make sure I get it right before I install this dash!

Here's what mine looks like... well, they aren't all blurry and out of focus, but these were taken with my cell phone camera which gets thrown and dropped kicked and soaked every day or two.
But, you get the idea.

And for craps and giggles...

I got the tilt, turn and emergency flasher knobs off ebay. Theey're real close to what you have?

Yes, wow looks great on your truck and that looks like them. Do you still have the info?
Also I think I found them in the parts book Truck Shop on page 49, May of 2007-- the set goes for $32. I'm going to e-mail them to see if I can get a better photo.

No, I sure don't. They were listed on ebay as a set of the 3. (Tilt, turn, and four-way knob) Sorry. Didn't cost but about $25-35 for the set.
