Lowered leaf springs WHO HAS EM?!?!

Can someone please help. I have been trying to buy some lowered leaf springs for my 1972 chevy lwb. I tried ECE, CPP, Golden State Parts and they're all out of stock. I made the mistake of taking to many leafs out of my stock springs and now the sag is causing a horrilble pinion angle. So if anyone has any for sale I am interested in buying a pair, either new or used.

Re: Lowered leaf springs WHO HAS EM?!?!

Did you just remove springs or have you also flipped the rear end on top of the springs?

I ask because you may be able to find a used set of stock springs and flip the rear to get the truck lower. This would help maintain the ride.

Re: Lowered leaf springs WHO HAS EM?!?!

Well to answer your question bhyatt I removed all but the top and bottom spring so now my springs are de-arching causing a bad pinion angle and t I think I may have ruined the stock springs. Now for everyone else I have an order with GMCPauls who are closed til Monday, so I will have to wait and see if they have any in stock. Thanks for the info.
