70 Chevy 1/2 ton 4 z4

Decided to change my 70 chevy over to front disk
used disk off a 74
got new master cylinder and booster for a 72
new from parts store
Now the back brakes lock up when you barely touch the pedal
changed master cyinder didnt help

Perhaps a bad proportioning valve? If all the force is heading straight to the rear and not being dampened.

You have to swap out the drum brake "distribution block" for a disc brake proportioning valve.
