Chevrolet wire wheels?
....I jumped over here from the 60/66 forum,can someone tell me what year these wheels where made? 1930's? there 5 on 4 3/4 - 16 x 4...thank you.

Cant tell by size but 34 chevys had a wheel like that.

I thought the Chevy wheels were 6-lug.I have a set that are.I believe they went to 5-lug later.What is the pattern (measurement) on those?

I bleave them to be 5 on 4 1/2 maybe 5 on 4 1/4 I'll re check ....

I don't recall seeing any Chevys that old which had 5 hole wheels. To find the bolt circle diameter, measure the center distance between two adjacent holes and multply by 1.7.

Hi all I think the 5 on 4 1/2 or 4 1/4 should be for dodge or plymouth. All the 30s chevys I have seen are 6 lug both car and 1/2ton pickups. the ones in the photo above look like the 5 on 5.5 from the fords

36 and earlier are 5 lug. They aren't the 4 3/4 pattern though.
