Late Model Seats
I know there's several threads on the subject, but I just picked up some late model bucket seats from a 1500.
And I just wanted to know if anyone had come across any particular problems mounting them in their truck.. Are any of the bench mounting holes in the correct position, or will I have to drill four new holes? I won't be relocating the tank, and I have a stock steering wheel with tilt. The seats are power, but I'm not too concerned about that, I have just enough room to sit in the stock bench all the way back. So once they're in, they'll stay at the farthest back position. J.

Re: Late Model Seats
The button on those seats is for power lumbar. That is connected to a air bladder in the lower portion of the seat back. Yuo probbably will have to make all new holes in your floor . Please make up or have made some plates to go uder the floor pan to spread out the load. Acouple of inches square should be fine ,on the later model trucks the plates are about 2in by 3in . The tilt will definatly help your situion about placement and seat height. Jim

Re: Late Model Seats
Thanks..
I'll make up some pieces as you suggested. The bench seat I have in it now is not original, and is way overstuffed. I sit too high and far forward for my comfort. It's not that I have no room between myself and the steering wheel, I just prefer not to be so close. I'm of the "straight arm" school of driving. J.
