my project that is after along break way to freaking long of a break i am back to working on her . got my new tub from nj back in april thanks to the board member who pointed me in the right direction . i got the tub on the frame and all the body mounts installed and the front end put back on . pulled the motor back out and put a new dip stick back in since this dipstick broke the old one off . hopefully i should have it running out of a gas can this weekend and some all 4 the same and correct size tires on it .

i'd go with the duratracs i had them on my work truck and had no problems with them

yeah i got the dura tracs on my daily driver and they have done very good i had them on all last winter with the bad snow and all . i am still thinking about it havent had my duratracs in any heavy mud yet so i dont know how they do and yes i am going to take this truck in heavy mud snow what ever it needs to go threw . I am working on scoring a H2 spare tire carrier for cheep for my home made bumper on the back . here is a pic of the truck with my ugly mug thrown in just to show how high it sits plus my custom window sticker

hopefully its on the road and legal by may i dont have much left to do brakes steering plumb fuel system finish tightening down the body drive shafts and a t case ebrake and paint the rest of the body flat black to match the rest of the tub

I havent made it yet still in the planning process but when i do it will have a pic on here . my new boss is a very good fab guy been doing metal work at a very young age and is almost in his 50s so i have some help with it plus i am learning alot more then i already had the skills for . i will have to post his truck on here when its done even know its a ford . 46 ford cab z notched rear frame 50s ford car front susp cab has been cut chopped and body dropped every way you can do it with a 392 hemi in it with a turbo 400 the whole truck is the lenght of a honda civic so it should be a fun ride

well i got 4 dura tracs 315 75 16 load range E and also got my hummer spare tire carrier for free this week . got some of the motor back together wires and distb all put on now . hopefully to make a big jump forward this up coming week get the tub the rest of the way bolted down truck cleaned out and some of the floor cleaned up to coat it with something .

plan is to have it on the road by may so i have a month or two to work the bugs out before i take it to the beach and west by god virgina . will keep the pics coming got to get some more this week . the dura tracs look good on the 16 x 10 wheels i got . any one know of a place that makes a safe aftermarket roll bar or cage kit that i can put together my self ? i found the one on s&w race cars but not to sure about the saftey of a mild steel cage i think it was .120 wall tube .

here is the exact product listing for s&w race cars for the 10 point cage (1967-1972 Chevy Pick Up, 1-5/8 x .134" wall EWS tubing, Includes required frame "outrigger package ) i know a 10 point i am going to not be able to use the glove box door and the front two windsheild top bolts might be fun to put in and out . i ask them at s&w if this would fit a blazer and they said yes it would . any thoughts ????
