Should I buy this full convert?

Hey guys Ive been a long lurker on this site(about 4 years) but not much of a poster. Ive owned a 85 C20 and a 91 3+3. Both 2wd and used as DD's. However I found out a month ago that Im getting stationed in Hawaii. As soon as I found out I was moving I started looking for a K5. Mostly 80's ones but the other day I stumbled upon a 1975 full convertible. It was a little more than what i was looking to spend but it's in great condition. My plans are to have a nice daily driver nothing too major off the street. And I dont have too much time left before I would have to ship the car so something that needed a bit of work is kind of out of the question. The guy is currently asking 8500 but I dont want to rush into things because of my time constraints. Sorry for the long post but tell me what you think.

Stats:
Rebuilt 350/350 with only a couple thousand on it
New paint Never off road, always garaged, full soft top, bimini top, hard top, new tires, new carpet, 6 CD changer Solid frame and undercarraige.

That a very nice looking truck, especially to see the interior and undercarriage looking great. But toys are hard to sell now, I'd think $6500 would be more realistic.

That would be perfect for Hawaii. If the floors, rockers, and quarters look good, you should be set. I do wonder how they got the flip and fold seat to work, though. The original seat would have been stationary.

after looking at the 5k examples listed above, and the fact you are getting the soft tops also, I would spend 8k on it. Then again its not my money we're talking about.
