Re: Crew cab for sale

It really is an awesome truck but they're smoking some good stuff if they think they'll even get a fourth of what they want out of that.

Re: Crew cab for sale

I respect the fact that he did ( or paid to have done) alot of work to that truck because I was in the midst with helping my dad do his, not easy cuz of the size of the truck, but $85K? If that is what you have into it, you will never get it out unless it is a collector corvette or Tri-5 or something like that.

Thanks Rusty, I will pass your compliment onto my dad.

Re: Crew cab for sale

Very nice truck but not worth that much to me....Idk why people think the canadian dollar is that much less than us dollar, our dollars are off by 2cents. last year our dollar was worth more than the us...

ad says

Rare 1966 Chevy Crew Cab Only the Best Of All
Expensive Restoration of 1 of 20 built Trucks

do they mean only 20 factory built?? doesnt seem right

Re: Crew cab for sale

MCC

None of the Crew cabs were "factory built" until 73 (I think). These were all coach company built and the # varied by year but I would venture to say that # is a little low, I think by what I have read 1-200 would be a good estimation of the builds per year. there were 3 coach builders licensed by GM to build these for Forestry companies, railroads and highway crews and the like, I cant really see some individual buying one unless they had a bunch of kids, but then again the burbs would handle more kids that a crew. anyway, that is all i know....
