I ripped the plug outa the back and the twisty thing that is used to set in wont work so I need a used one. Or where can I find a new one? I have looked in the 5 restoration catalogues that I have and I cant find one. Thanks.

If board members can't find what they are looking for, then I help them out by putting their name and what they are looking for on my "hunt for" list. Look at some of my posts that say "you need help finding parts". I take the pics of the item for them and give them the price the salvage wants for it, and then quote them on the shipping.

No you don't "wait on me" to see if I locate one. If another member has one, you can get it from them. What I do is if I do locate one, First: I will take pics of it, 2nd: I will get the price the salvage yard wants for it, 3rd: I email you the pics I took and the price I was given and also give you the shipping charge. If you don't accept it, no problem. I am nothing more than members extra eyes. I have a lot of time on my hands and if I can help locate a part, I will. I am not saying, that you or anyone on the board has to stop looking for the part, if I find what you are looking for, I tell you. Nothing else. It is the same as if I had it in my hands then, and say 2 other members also had one they want to sell. You can buy from anyone you want. I do nothing more than tell you. I don't go pull it, or purchase it without you telling me that you want it. If you don't want it, I don't purchase it. Nothing more.

Hope this explains a little bit better. Help me out here guys if I am not explaining everything.

Classic industries sell those clocks. I bought 2 off ebay from skybob1 last year. I paid $35 each.

Does that type of clock work in all gage clusters or could it even be hard wired directly into the BAT side of the fuse box?

clock

On my 84 suburban, I have that type of clock in my dash. It is wired to a constant power source and runs continuous.

Why wait 6 more days for it to end. I can put one in the mail tomorrow morning. Just went to salvage and pulled 4 out and all 4 are good and complete w/ wires and mounting screws.

Tommy, check your email!

Thanks 78, but I am going to get it from Tommy. The stuff I need always pops up on ebay when I am not paying attention.
