Great Day!!
Great day today, went to my buddys salvage yard, im there like everyday. but today one of the usual people that come out there asked if i wanted a 283 and a 327. i told him i'd be interested if he'd bring them up and so i could see them. when he brought them there they were complete engines, the 327 even had a bell housing on it. both turn over great. he said the 327 smoked when it was pulled, but ran good. anyway i asked what he wanted for them and he asked if i would give 100 bucks for them. i did on the spot. figured they worth worth more than that core price. well anyway im excited been looking for a 327 for a long time think its the only sbc i've never had. i'm excited!

by the casting numbers the 327 is out of a 62-67 truck. and the 283 is out of a 58 - 64 truck.
