What about a longbed Stepside?

What are your opinions of longbed stepsides? can they be cool? are they hot rods? are they junk? please tell me what you think of them?

Rarely are long steps 'rodded, Or at least i have never seen a hot rodded long step. I think it's be way cool and unique if you did one.

I think they look great in 4x4 configuration with a little lift. I just saw one the other day...a little rare.

Not really rare or junk but they are different looking, lots of guys dont like them but if your looking for something a little different then you cant go wrong with a longstep

I would buy every long bed stepside I could get my hands on. Best looking truck next to a long bed stepside with a topless driver.

I have a real nice lwb stepside (67) for sale that i took in on trade on fleetside. I will probably sell fenders separate. But i am asking 500.00 complete except tailgate. I will say that it is about a #9 on a scale of 1-10. Let me know if i can help. Thanks

Nothing wrong with them at all. You don't see too many of them, that's part of what makes them so cool IMO

I saw a really nice blue '72 LWB step the other day. It was painted up pretty nice, with some slots and fat tires. It looked pretty cool and they only wanted $2400 for it....

they are the ugliest of our trucks, but i have a soft spot for them cuz my first vehicle was a 72 long step =)

the longest of the long (133" wb)...the one ton stepsides look the coolest...especially the one i remember seein that had factory looking flares so it would cover the DRW.
