windshield install?

should i instal;led the front windshield with glue or without glue?

.. I have never used any sealer or glue on any of the windshields I have installed...

Leon my friend ,,whats your rainfall where you live ? I know that out here on the coast I have to put the goop to the windshied or I get a leak ,,back window seems to be okay .gp Larry .

This last year we almost broke the record. We had 69 inches of rain, and the record is 72. Man, I was getting tired of everything being wet all the time.

take a utility knife and cut the gasket lip off along the INSIDE then gently push the windshield out.

i will try that but the one that in in my old cab was glued in so it will eb a slow process

One thing about it is,,if the window gasket does leak like mine did ,,you can put the sealer in afterwards inside the lip of the gasket and you don't have to take it back out.. Just make sure you use the right cleaner so not to ruin the paint..

mine leaked and shorted out my dimmer switch .. I do hear all the time you don't need to glue it though ?? So must work for most.. LoL gp Larry
