Windfield Show

I don't think I'll be able to make the Windfield show Sunday but those of you who do keep your eyes peeled for a red 62-66 Chevy PU. Saw it at the WAM Mopar show tonight in Wichita. This is the nicest truck I believe I have ever seen first hand. The bed is awsome, inlayed wood flames!!!! I'm not talking about some cheezy amature job, this thing was first class craftsmanship. Unfortunatly I didn't bring the camera with me since I didn't expect to see anything out of the ordinary. To bad it wasn't a 67-72 truck but most of the same ideas could be applied to our trucks. If you see it and can take some pics please post pics of the bed and interior or email them to me. It's a true work of art. Thanks....Stroker

it was featured in (i believe) this fridays Eagle sometime in the last week at least, the guy who owns it has been making cabinets and furniture for cessna, beech etc for the last 20 yrs and alot of the material was donated by various "sources/sponsers" in the trade. he estimates the bed would cost 10 grand to build from scratch and alot of time. there was a picture of the bed in the paper, crappy quality though, call the paper and they might have it on a disc.

It was in the Wheels section of the Sunday Eagle, and there was a pic of that bed, and it did look awesome.
