Question Help With Outside Mirrors

Ok i have a 1972 cheyenne, i recently bought these chrome outside mirrors which are the original ones. I installed them on the truck and i can only see my trucks bed out of the driver side one, and on the passenger side i can't. Therefore when im out on the street i can't see behind my passenger side to see if any cars are coming.I placed the mirrors on the old screw holes, would y'all have any idea of why i cant see the side of my truck with the passenger side mirror? They are turned towards the driver as much possible, here are some pictures! Plz help ! ~NightMare

Re: Help With Outside Mirrors

Check out my post from yesterday called "Door Mirror help" (it's on page 4 right now). In that post someone provided a link to another post with a picture and drawing showing exactly where the mirrors are to be mounted. It looks like you definately have both your mirrors mounted too high on the doors and maybe not in the right spot horizontally either. There is a difference between the passenger and driver door on where the mirror mounts. Check out that post for the details.
