Exhaust for a 250
I have a I6 250 in my 67 C10 LWB and need/WANT to replace the exhaust. What do you guy suggest? What makes these sound nice?
Thanks in advance! |

Re: Exhaust for a 250
Headers are available. Langdon's has cast iron ones. Clifford makes short and long steel pipe ones.
I run the Langdon's with 2 1/4 inch pipe and dynomax turbos all the way out the back. Sounds like a smallblock but it's a six. |

Re: Exhaust for a 250
I have I believe Clifford headers on mine, dual exhaust, coming out right in front of the rear tires. I think it has just plain turbo mufflers. It definitely sounds like a 6 and is not quiet at all, but I like it. Especially when I pull up next to somone blasting some god awful rap music, I just rev it up so the exhaust is right in thier ear!

Yup. Local muffler shop. Headers and pipes about 700 bucks.
