temp control and door lock lights

I pulled my temperature control unit in my 2000 sierra to replace burnt out bulbs and realized that they appear to be LED's? Can anyone confirm? And is there a method for replacement? I could probably solder new ones in, but I am just wondering if anyone else had already done this and could offer up some advice.

Much appreciated.

Re: temp control and door lock lights

I thought bulbs were burned out in my 03 Z71 where the dual temp slides are. But they appear to be shorting out in cold weather. They generally come back on during the summer months. I've never pulled the unit out, but I would assume there are breaks in solder joints somewhere.
