A man, his dog, and his truck

I just got Sampson, a 3.5 month old purebred black lab, and he got to go for his first ride to the dump yesterday. No, not in the back, I would never do that, he layed on the seat right against me the whole way.

Re: A man, his dog, and his truck

Sacto, I guess in the past I was lucky. This is my 2nd black lab, and my other never chewed up anything. I hope Sampson turns out the same.

Re: A man, his dog, and his truck

This is Simon, He is a dark chocolate lab, I got him after I lost my black lab of 14 years Shadow. It's tough losing a good dog so Simon has been fun. He loves riding in the front seat as you can see.

Re: A man, his dog, and his truck

My black lab of 13 years loved the truck bed. She would ride up front if the bed was full but drop the tailgate anywhere within her hearing it and she would be in the bed before you could turn around. She jumped out once while still moving when she was a pup. It most have thought her a lesson, after that you could leave the tailgate down and she wouldn't get out until you told her she could. Very nice dogs and still miss her.

Re: A man, his dog, and his truck

Keep the pics coming, I'm loving the dogs with our trucks pic. 54blackhornet, Simon looks a lot build wise like my old black lab, Jake.

Re: A man, his dog, and his truck

Waiting patiently. This is Buddy, half lab, half golden. Loves to ride, and doesn't complain. If the truck moves, he's in it, all I have to do is pull on a jacket, and he's laughing and ready to go.

Re: A man, his dog, and his truck

Miss Chloe Bell is my Australian Shepard. All I have to say to her is " Load up dog" and she will be waiting for me to get in. The only dog I have ever had, and she is very special. I almost got arrested one night because she had TWO paws in the street when the dog catcher came by???? I would have been happy in jail, knowing I looked out after her best interest! Crazy about my dog.

This is my truck dog. As soon as she gets over herself, I plan on letting her ride in the glove box.

This is Jack (Australian Shepherd) and his truck. You can not get in the truck before him. It transports him to the trail where he gets his exercise.

Cool pics everyone. Shaky, I love the original and patina look of that 67. You wouldn't want to trade it for a completely rusted out and primered 70 would you, lol!

Re: A man, his dog, and his truck

My 3 year old shih tzu, she is travel size only 9 lbs. I have always had big dogs, but my wife wanted this one and she has turned out to be the best dog I have ever had. She loves to ride, truck, atv, motorcycle, boat, golfcart, as long as it moves she wants to go.
