Re: Polishing a Turd!
Tonight, stole the bumper off my brothers suburban and polished it up, stuck it on mine. painted my headlamp bezels grey primer to better match the silver grille, better than the satin black for sure. Ordered new silver ones last night but this will do until they come in.
Fixed my bowtie from trying to fall off, no more ziptie around it. stripped all the paint off the hood and re painted it, I was lazy the first time around and didnt get all the chipping paint off. No good pics..... got some flowmaster 40 american thunder series mufflers in the mail, single 2.5" in and single 2.5 out, like I said after the headers the pipe steps down to 1 3/4" pipe and so I'm going 2.5" and let it breath better. Doing the exhaust tuesday. Before: After: (with silver-ish bezels and original style bumper) |

The lowered Z looks a little familiar... are you on PT.net or GMFS?

Re: Polishing a Turd!
Yes I've been banned from pt.net and GMFS, and FSC.
Got my exhaust done this past tuesday, got bigger 2.5" pipe into flowmasters with turndowns. Love the sound. And the performance stepped up too, it accelerates much quicker now that the motor isnt being choked. From what it had: To what its got now: You can hear the cam a lot better in this exhaust setup, love it. Got my silver bezels in today, put em on. In the morning I'll be getting two new tires for the front (to match the two in the rear I just bought) and an alignment. |

Re: Polishing a Turd!
Should have your tubing mandrel bent instead of crush bending flows alot better that way

Re: Polishing a Turd!
basically the only bend is on the passenger side, he went a different route with the exhaust this time. It comes right out of the headers and straighte out basically.
