Fitment of replacement window gaskets?

Guys, When my truck goes into the bodyshop I want to buy new gaskets for the front and rear windows as well as the vent windows. Ive always heard they never fit right, but someone has got to be able to make em work as many trucks that get restored.

Before I had the truck someone sprayed primer on the body and didnt tape off the windshields, so grey primer got all over the gaskets.

I need to try thinner to see if thatll take it off, but the vent windows need new gaskets.

Hows the fitment of LMC's or Classicparts gaskets?
