lift for a factory 65 4X4

I have a 65 K-10 short bed. It is sitting on the original springs, but has newer axles front and rear (best I can tell out of a 71 Blazer). The factory springs are very tired, I am hoping to redo the suspension in the spring. I would like to get 2-3 more inches out of it. Short of custom springs has anyone found springs from something else that bolt in and get this, or add-a-leafs? Any ideas would be appreciated. I am currently running 33"s but would like to get to 35"s, but more importantly get the right stance.

It looks higher than stock to me. Are you sure you don't already have some kind of lift on it now?

I bought it as you see it in the picture, I have added a bench seat from a late model, and replaced all the brakes. Other than that I am not certain of anything. The front springs are flat, and have 5 leaves in the pack. The rear are very stiff, have a small arch and 7 leaves.

They sat pretty high stock.I don't think anyone makes an off the shelf lift for pre-69s with the wider leafs.It's an original 4wd with newer axles,right?A spring shop can do whatever you want.i had a '90 Blazer I didn't want to lift,just bring the front up to level and give room for 12.50/33s on 10" wheels.They arched and added a leaf to whatever height I wanted.Not expensive,especially when you figure labor.

Could you just measure Eye to eye on the springs and find some replacements that way. I think on the rear of a half ton the springs are 52in and on a 3\4 they are 56in Dont hold me to this . lol

Thanks for the responses. I have the spring measurements and will be checking them on other trucks once it warms up here. Short of that I will be visiting a spring shop in the spring, unfortunately I do not really have a local one.

Thanks, its good 20 footer, and a blast to drive. It will be a great truck once I get done redoing it. Working on mechanicals now, and hopefully do the body next year.

I had a similiar delima with my '66 burb. The PO had 2.5" lift blocks on the front so the diff wouldn't hit the big block oil pan it has. I found that no springs were available so I had a local spring shop do it right. Got about 1/2" more and swapped the old rotten 35's for 37's. I still have to do the rear though, it's got a 3/4" block on top of the factory block.

id be interested in this as well, i got a 65 as well but GMC, so leafs all around (dunno if chevy vs GMC had a difference in ride height but probably not), mines on 33's and half ton like urs

heres how it sits now for comparison if u think urs could possibly have had a lift done by PO. mines stock height for 33s to my knowledge but it does look dam high

Definitely no lift on my ride, yet. I sits the same as yours. I do have some clearance problems with the front axle and the exhaust thanks to the work the PO did (apparently he only drove on flat paved roads). I need to fix the clearance issues, would like to even out the truck and gain a little more height. If I can do all with the same modification that would be great. I don't plan on hauling much with this has anyone done something to improve the ride on these or soften it up some?
