I think I'm crazy!

I have almost everything to fix up the '91 that I want. A good collection for my '72 Blazer. I can't seem to get anything done on either one and now I went out and bought a turbo V6 motor to try and stuff in my Vega. What am I thinking!! Slight buyers remorse and frustration if you can't tell.

Where did all my free time go?? My garage looks like a junk yard puked in it! Just venting.

Re: I think I'm crazy!

I know what you mean about too many projects, I have 4 right now and am always looking for more. Three of my projects are drivers, but do need some work.

Heck, I also have two old tractors that need to be restored.

My son just got rid of 3 of his project trucks, he traded them for a '65 Impala SS.

We were going to put the trucks in running condition, but since they are not selling real well now he did the trade.

Re: I think I'm crazy!

I have too many projects and not enough money for any of them. I have my '91 which could be called complete, even though I do still have a wish list for it. I have my '88 crew cab dually, a '72 Plymouth 340 Duster, a '67 Chevelle and I'll have my grandfather's '71 C20 before too long.

Re: I think I'm crazy!

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one! It's so tempting when the "deals" show up. And I still can't stop looking for stuff. Guess it's the disease we all have. Right now my 18 month old and the second on the way is what's taking up my time. Not a bad thing.

My goal is to at least get the '91 fixed up next year. It's my daily driver and I have all the stuff do what I want. Just needs some more mechanical maintenance work, paint, and dash change and I'll have a nice truck.

Restorob - You would get a couple good things if you came by to "help" Really how many transmissions or engines does one person need??

Re: I think I'm crazy!

Well, here's a cure for those impromptu purchases......fixed income. I drool at stuff that I want, then open the wallet and......sigh. Gotta bunch of stuff, some automotive, some collectibles.....to sell to generate funds. That oughta work, right?

Re: I think I'm crazy!

A guy once told me that he actually finished a project.
He seemed like an OK guy until he showed his true colors as a blatant liar with that statement.
