how to clean up the brake lines, etc...

I'm not going FRAME OFF on my restore...
But lots of "clean up" is in order...

What do you guys do to clean up all the steel lines... brake lines, trans cooler lines, etc...??

I would use something like Super clean or Purple Power on them with a pressure washer while they are still on the truck, and go from there.

go to Dollar General and get the degreaser called "awesome." its the best ive found, and super cheap

Yup, fine steel wool works wonders to clean up and polish the outside of these lines. Here's an example of the PS pump return line being cleaned...
