CF looks good on classics when they are all-out builds sporting a cool pro-touring look...but I do remember seeing a truck on here that had a bunch carbon fiber accents under the hood that were hand made. When reading it, I thought it was going to be pretty ricey looking, but it actually came out nice.

IMO, I wouldn't choose carbon fiber to fill up holes on the firewall, . Right now I just have some scrap sheet metal pop-rivet'd on, so maybe my opinion doesn't count as much...

CF isn't my first choice... I really want to make steel reproductions but die makers aren't exactly on every street, or cheap. I guess I could also do fiberglass just as easy as CF. I kinda like how the non-glossy carbon fiber looks, though. I will make one for myself first, and if the results aren't too embarassing, I will post some pics. Gonna order all the crap to make the molds and the raw materials soon - Pricey!
