Got to change the wheels part II
Someone aptly named these the "Slicer Dicer" wheels. Wheel shopping today. Going to replace with 17" TT-2 style wheels. If I go with the same width I currently have then back-spacing's not an issue cuz I'll get the same BS on the new wheels. But what if I go slightly smaller on the front? What's the best way to figure the BS I need?
Also...I've bought Summit parts for years. Anybody own Summit wheels? Any pro's or con's as far as quality, etc?

Re: Got to change the wheels part II
Need some help! The bolt pattern on the above mentioned truck is 5X5 front and 5X5 3/8 back.....
Measured 3 times....searched on-line but can't find that particular bolt pattern. Anybody seen this?

Plug in what you have on the left side of this calculator and you can use the other side to figure out what new wheel/tire combo will fit. As for the bolt pattern, never heard of it. Will a front wheel fit on the rear? |

Re: Got to change the wheels part II
What a strange combo. Might have wound up with the salad-shooter wheels due to the difference in bolt pattern. Do the wheels have holes for 5x5 and 5x5.5?

Using this site: http://www.elites-wholesale.com/Shop...2384/SFV/32431
Select a wheel size in the menu on the left, then a color, and it will show you bolt patterns available. Coincidentally, the wheels I have (Torq-thrust Originals) are shown available in both 5x5 and 5x5.5 bolt patterns |

Re: Got to change the wheels part II
It is a strange combo and I didn't know until I took the wheels off to verify the bolt pattern. The "Vego-matic" wheels on there now have dual bolt patterns for 5X5 and 5X5 1/2.
I'm no expert but I don't think it's a ford 9". It has a rear cap vice the removable front case. I'm going to crawl under to see if I can ID it.
