Engine Decoding***delete found code***

I was wondering if someone could give me a hand. I have been on 73-87.com and through my books I have and can not figure out which engine is in my truck. It is a 5.0L truck and 305 style manifolds. What has me questioning is there is NO bolt in the P/S very rear exhaust manifold hole(at fire wall). If I remember correctly 305 manifolds won't fit 350's for this reason.

Anyway....here is the information off the P/S block by the head.

TO823CEJ OR TC823CEJ

180101264 OR 18C101264

I cleaned it off and you can read it but it is hard to tell the c from the o.

Thanks in advance for any assistance because I have searched and came up 0!

Re: Engine Decoding 86 GMC

I don't know how to decode those numbers. It sounds like the engine has been replaced with a 350. My crate engine had two holes drilled in the heads so it could use the standard or 305 manifolds. Apparently you don't have a crate engine.

Re: Engine Decoding 86 GMC

Thanks for the reply's. I figured out it is an older 305 without the double bolt holes. Was hoping a 350 but it is not.
