81-84 over flow bottle location

A friend of mine is putting a 83 with a 6.2 vortec back together and me or him can't figure where the tank goes pics would be most helpful

here is how the doofus i got mine from mounted the overflow it looks very practical and i love the custom bottle.

Right side between battery and radiator core support. Here are pics from my 83 C20 - it is packed very tight in there from the factory. Tank and cap are about $33 in Classic Parts catalog + hose + S&H. LMC has them also ($23). I stay away from used plastic parts - likely to be cracked or almost cracked.

that pretty clever, just be sure to cut the hose at a angle so it doesn't suck to the bottom of the bottle
