67 C10 starter wire ?

I need to replace the purple starter wire (350 engine). What gauge wire should I use?

You can try Home Depot or Lowe's or whatever your local big-box home improvement/extortion provider is.

I was in there today and noticed they had spools of hook-up wire in various gauges and colors sold by the foot. Or beyond that there's lots of places online that sell just what you want.

I've used blue before and was able to sleep reasonably well afterwards.
