so heres where im at with this. my rotors fit fine on the stock spindles so if i use them what am i losing the obvious is 2" drop at ride height but if I'm bagged what"s the difference?

Ride quality. The bag needs a certain height/pressure to achieve good (proper) ride quality. If you want the ride height @ a certain level, it may or may-not be optimum. Dropped spindles are a quick/easy way for making that adjustment w/o detrimental impact.
