I have the same Funnel set. i love it. i had it for about 7 years. no issues. used it more on foreign cars though. they go crazy with air in the system.

To get the air out just jack the front of the truck up a little and run it as you're adding the coolant with the heater on high. Any air in the system will go to the highest point. If you have air in the system usually your air will blow cold when you come to a stop or just every now and then.
