Please Help What is this?

found it at a garage sale wondering What it is som ehelp would be nice, I posted this here because these truck owners seem to be the smartest.


is also says TROJAN on it and a few numbers on the side
What do you think it is.

well it seems to be a peice of metal with holes and an arm


just joking what ever it is where it bolts should be on a ceiling becaucs the words are upside down so if you hang it upside down the words will be right side up

it looks like the rear propeller shaft mount for a boat. is it brass?

It is a boat drive shaft support also know as a cutlass bearing. Should be worth something on E-bay

they commonly get bent if the boat is run aground. they are worth more if they know they are not bent.

Looks like it came off an old v drive boat, it sits right at the end of the prop shaft
