yes, the fuel is gone out of the carb and line from the pump up if it sits, then i need to prime the carb the get the motor to tun fast enough the get the fuel pumped to the carb, could i have a bad pump too? once its running there are no problems, only after sitting for days at a time

Sounds like you may also have a bad battery or dragging starter.
