Brake Pedal Location

I did some searching but couldnt find what I was looking for. I really dont like where my brake pedal is postioned, its really high compared to the gas pedal.
I think I remember reading someone offering a replacement or custom made brake pedal but it seemed kinda expensive. Has anyone customized or changed theirs so it doesnt sit so high?
Thanks!

Re: Brake Pedal Location

On the episode of overhaulin with the 71 or 72 orange lwb, Chip cut out a triangular section on the back side of the 'rod, extension, lever' and then bent it back to close the gap and then welded it back together. I'm planning on trying this on my truck when I get to it.
