Who's chopped out there?
Hey ya'll I'm thinking about chopping my latest project 86swb How many of ya'll have done this before.Perhaps a picture or two
or a link anything would be helpfull.Im not set in stone about it just a thought right now. |

no im going to have a buddy help me hes chopped several old hot rods but im not sure if im committted to the idea yet but im leaning toward it awful heavy

I have seen them on our trucks and wouldnt recommend it.
I (and thats just me) dont like the way they look unless it is a very small chop. But then only going to a small chop is it worth it? I dont think so. I might also have some pictures, Ill check and see. If you do decide to do it, post pictures as you go. I am sure other board members may be interested.

I personally think it takes away from the trucks proportions if you chop one, unless it is going to be a mild 1-2" chop, the you have to think what is the point.....

ok after careful consideration and the fact that my wife is 6'3 you
guys have talked me out of it.i went to a truck show this past weekend and saw one that was chopped and while it looked good i dont beleive it is right for me.thanks for you input.
