Suspension and rims sizes
Hi people, i've been lurking for a while and i'm ready to start my project
If anyone has pic's of a 65 or 66 short bed truck with a 4" drop lift with 15" rally rims i would like to see some pictures. also what is the best lowering kit to buy that doesn't require a bunch of crap that parts are hard to find? I'm a field welder so fab work is no big deal. if anyone can please help it would be of great help to me. Thank you in advance. Steve Last edited by Blue Heeler; 12-20-2010 at 10:58 PM. |

Re: Suspension and rims sizes
Sorry I can't answer your question,... because I don't have a 60-66 truck.
I like using spindles and springs up front. This will require switching to disc brakes. Drop rear springs are readily available. Also install quality drop shocks and a sway bar up front. I use ECE for all my 67-72 truck suspension parts. They sell parts for the 60-66 trucks also. (www.earlyclassic.com) This is a list of the first 100 threads when I searched 4" drop. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...archid=2045883
