Sorry i dont have pics of my motor but it is in the stock location for now and i have tried several different headers and manifolds but they all seem to hit on the frame. From what i've seen if you move the motor back a little it seems to make alot more room for headers or manifolds.Hope this helps.
all that one needs is new chroe bumper and grille

I noticed you didn't cut the front frame horns off. Are you going to or did everything fit without having to cut them.

I still need to do that, I never mocked up the radiator support so im not sure how much to cut off yet. If you look close at the picture you can see they didnt get painted.

I did notice that they were not painted and I was told to cut them 1/2" past the steering box.

because of the steering box, you're limited on how far back you can cut it.
the way ive seen almost everyone else do it is exactly what Fat Mike just said.. about a 1/2" from the steering box bolt.. you cant go any closer without effecting how the steering box is mounted. (plus any closer, and the box itself would be in the way)
you will still have to trim the inner fenders to fit.. so dont worry about cutting it "too far back".. you just trim all you can, then mod the fenders for the rest.

Ive seen that in other peoples builds but that is another problem...no steering box yet.

You don't need a steering box, just go off the forward most bolt hole. I cut mine right up to the sleeve in the frame for that bolt, then cut the other side to match.

Sweet looking truck! I really like the color. I would like to shave the seam on my hood but have yet to find a good way to do it. How did you do yours?
