Blazer seat belts

May sound like a dumb question but this is the first K5 for me. My rear seat only has one seat belt that reaches the entire way accross the seat. Is this correct or should there be two individual ones like most vihicles? I have two little girls who want to ride back there just want to make sure I am legal.

Re: Blazer seat belts

There should be 2 sets. There's 4 mounting holes on the bed floor in case you don't have the legs with mounts...

Re: Blazer seat belts

Thanks for the info, I have a bunch of stuff in boxes that I received when I bought my blazer, so I guess I need to start digging for the other belts.

Re: Blazer seat belts

Does anyone know if 3 in the back was ever a factory issued option on these? I have 2 on the four leg bench and want to add a 3rd, where is the middle belt attached?

Re: Blazer seat belts

im not sure if it was factory or not, but i just doubled up the two center ones for the third belt, it was for my kids also so there was not a lot of weight on them.

Re: Blazer seat belts

Finally got out to look at the blazer tonight. I only have the 4 post seat in the rear. I dont see where I can mount the other two pieces for the belts. Anyone have a picture they can show me where they mount?

Thanks

Re: Blazer seat belts

I don't have a picture, but my legs didn't have the nuts for seat belts either. I just bolted the seat belts to the same bolt as the legs themselves.

Re: Blazer seat belts

I have some of the seat belts bolted to the outer legs, guess I need to try and find some holes in the floor to bolt the interior belts of the seat. I am not sure If this is the original seat so hopefully they are there. The extra seat I have has 4 legs across the back but, it isn't ready to go in the truck. Thanks for the help.

Re: Blazer seat belts

Ah... i get it. U should be able to bolt 2 more legs to the seat u have now. If u do that and match up the outer 2 legs, the 2 inner legs should be right over the threaded holes.

Re: Blazer seat belts

For anyone whos is interested still I found some pictures of how the seat belts bolt in on a original seat with the 4 post rear. This blazer even has the original 3 seat belts attached.
