sub box

What size sub box do i need in my 1972 c10 with a bench seat and gas tank behind the seat, i want it over the tranny but my sub box now is too big. I got my new stereo and i cut my dash, looks much better and got my 6.5 inch pioneer 180 watt speakers in the doors.

maybe a shallow one or 2 under the seat?

I don't have an answer to your sub box question...

But I do think it's kinda funny when folks put these big-azzed stereos in their vehicles and some time later start to notice when spot welds begin to pop from all the vibration of the sub woofs. Maybe years later, but still...
(I'm sure a vehicle as well/heavy-built as these Chevys and GMCs would hold up much longer without any drastic problems, but eventually it just has to take it's toll). Ya just can't fight physics.

I'm working on a sub box that fits under the seat on my 67 shop truck. As soon as I have made finished I will post some pics.
