Re: 67 k10 lift kit
The rear springs are different... they are longer on 67-68. You can do a diy4x.com shackle flip kit and then use 4" regular springs. Just be sure to measure spring eye to spring eye to make sure they work.
The shackle flip will require you to remove the rear shackle but that's only 4 rivets. I would also plan on new bushings in the rear and maybe a zero-rate or add-a-leaf if oyu need an extra inch due to sagging springs.

Re: 67 k10 lift kit
Do you know what size spring is on the rear? 56"? I have 68 swb and want lift, ord offers kits for 67-72 and cover different sizes. If I did an axle swap to disk in the future would the same springs in the front work?

Re: 67 k10 lift kit
67 and 68 used a 2-1/4" wide spring. 69-72 used a 2-1/2" wide spring

Re: 67 k10 lift kit
Mike, you have the heavy duty leafs on your 68? 3 Leafs and the width is 2 1/4? So I f I could find a 68 with your leafs they would be a direct bolt and give me a little lift?

Re: 67 k10 lift kit
I'll double check the width... front springs should be the same on most trucks though... You could just add another leaf or install a zero rate leaf for 1" of lift. Also increase the shackle length (I have a set of 6" shackles you can have cheap)

Sounds good for the shackles. My drvs side is a little twisted and need to be replaced so might as well go with yours. As always thanks! PM me with payment info. |
