Help identify this light.
OK, I am putting the instrument panel back in and I can't remember where a light goes. It is a 69 C-10, 2wd, auto without power brakes but it does have gauges. The light bulb and socket seems to be one that screws into one of the light holes in the instrument panel, but I don't know which one. It is on a black wire that comes out of the steering column. I have both of the manuals for the 69 (chassis and overhaul), but I can't find it on the wiring diagram. HELP?

it is your column's fiber optic and you can put it in place of any of the lights in you cluster. The normal position is on the RH side (as you face it) of the speedo.
The recepticle uses a standard bulb to light your cluster and the fiber optic reflects the light to your gear selector pointer.
