Re: Scary sounding whining noise
Still haven't gotten it to do it when I was able to check. Started for a second yesterday while I was driving but it stopped again as soon as I found a place to stop. This is really frustrating.

when it makes the noise is it a deep growling whine and does it sound like its coming from the engine or from your feet? if it sounds like its coming from the front get it warmed up and with the truck stopped turn the steering wheel lock to lock then drive it if it starts to whine you might have air in your power steering system
