talking about your choke i used to have a cable just hooked to my carb and reached under the dash and pulled the cable and held it to start my inline 6 when i had it. i think the kit to convert to electric choke is about $40-$50 on a edelbrock. It sucks that they don't make that one bezel maybe cut a hole?

i agree in order to make it look okay you should start by drilling a hole and going bigger and bigger tell the whole is right size you should do it that would be sick
